New Peer Group Opportunity for Sales Professionals and Business Developers
Are you responsible for the development of new business for your company?
Do you find that the day-to-day business of your firm eclipses the equally vital role of closing sales and generating new business, leaving you without consistent feedback and support? Could you use a regular forum for discussing your major sales and business development concerns?
CEOs and key executives have utilized Peer Groups as their de facto Advisory Boards for years. Sales pros are just beginning to recognize Peer Groups as a tool that can help them, too.
Productive Strategies is responding to this need by inaugurating a program creating Peer Groups as issue-driven forums for professionals who are directly responsible for developing new business. This includes direct sales people, independent reps, entrepreneurs, and business professionals tasked with new business development (lawyers, engineers, technology providers). In other words….hunters.
The goal is to enable individuals who are committed to exceptional performance to benefit from what amounts to a dedicated Advisory Board. Here you will learn best practices, be held accountable for your results and gain support from others who are walking a similar path.
Peer Group members often don’t have someone within their own firm to discuss weaknesses in their programs or to gain an independent perspective on strategy or execution. Well-facilitated Peer Groups help participants gain the valuable insight necessary to drive their business to the next level. Regular meetings require members to look at their efforts from a broader perspective. Participants gain the support and confidence that can only be provided by a team of independent advisors, and they use the input to make the necessary changes in their own business. In return, of course, they provide reciprocal advice to their colleagues.
How much would your sales performance improve by collaborating with a group of independent colleagues, all dedicated to helping one another become aware of best practices, becoming better organized, and being held accountable for commitments and performance? Would you be more likely to implement new ideas, modify your behavior and perhaps create a breakthrough for yourself?
Think BONIS©
Each Productive Strategies Peer Group will consist of 8-12 non-competing professionals who will meet monthly for 2-3 hours. Each member is expected to bring some unique value and expertise to the group. Meetings will be facilitated by professionals from our staff with many years of sales, business development and management experience.
The Peer Groups will operate under the acronym of “BONIS©.” The initials stand for the five types of activities the members will focus on month-to-month.
If you are interested in learning more about joining a BONIS© Peer Group for business developers and sales professionals, please email Michael Schnitzler or call 847-446-0008, x-3. Groups are currently meeting in downtown Chicago as well as suburban Chicagoland locations.
